This Grade II listed historic building is situated in the heart of Manchester city centre and was designed as a Freemason Hall in 1929. Almost a century of memories have been created here giving an air of magic to your special occasion. A multi-million-pound restoration brought contemporary glamour without losing any of its traditional features. It made Manchester Hall one of the most stylish venues for your wedding reception.

There are 14 rooms of different sizes available in which to have your wedding celebrations at Manchester Hall. Housing parties of 50 to 500, you can choose the room which best suits your needs. There’s intimacy for up to 50 guests in The Library with its stunning black marble fireplace, and also in the chandeliered Lounge. For larger parties of up to 160 you can be in awe of the ornate painted ceiling in The Museum or the striking original chequerboard floor of Goulburn Lodge. If you’re looking for an even bigger space, The Goulburn Suite can house up to 400. The lavish 1920s design has been perfectly preserved with chandeliers and a breath-taking domed ceiling to dazzle your guests. Finally, if you’ve dreamed of an outdoor wedding, our John Rylands Rooftop Terrace will give you views of the Manchester cityscape and can house up to 500. Don’t worry if the famous Manchester rain makes an appearance too as there is a retractable roof to protect you!
